As The Hair Shop’s Education & Training Manager, she leads innovative programs that refine technical skills, drive revenue growth, and inspire confidence in every stylist she mentors. She teaches advanced extension techniques and helps stylists expand their service offerings.
In addition to technical skills, Heather provides valuable insights on marketing, increasing bookings, and overcoming salon challenges. As The Hair Shop’s Master Educator, she blends expertise, enthusiasm, and real-world experience to make learning both practical and inspiring.

Johnathan Morales
With over a decade in the beauty industry, Johnathan is known as a dynamic stylist, educator, and platform artist. Specializing in hair extensions, color, bridal, and film production hairstyling, he has mastered the art of transformation through hair.
After establishing himself as a sought-after stylist, Johnathan became an educator at Empire Beauty School in New York City, where his passion for teaching grew. Now, as an Educator for The Hair Shop for over three years, he brings innovative techniques and industry knowledge to help stylists elevate their skills.

Crystal Perez
With over 14 years in the industry, Crystal has dedicated her career to perfecting her craft and educating others. As the owner of Bonne Vie Salon in Glendora, CA, she leads a team of 22 stylists, emphasizing mentorship, collaboration, and growth.
Crystal was a 2024 OneShot Award winner in the Collaboration/Extensions category, a testament to her exceptional skill and dedication to her craft. Her passion is making advanced techniques accessible, breaking down complex concepts into easy-to-learn methods.
